Frank,
I normally dont'give out information but if you go to the Run Away Bay area it is rich in several different deposits that are worth investigating.
There are three principle levels to check out. The first is in the lake bed itself.
Then the two levels that extend up to the hard stone in the uppermost levels.

I may not be able to get out there on that weekend but if you want to go for it let me know what you find.
I have done some metal detecting out there as well and have a few nice items/stories from there.
