Jack,
There are few people who ever post here. Anyone is welcome especially if they are prolific at their skills. Take it easy on our neighbors up North. By the way Yankee hardly applies to a Canadian.
I myself know of these places you mentioned and have visited the Grapevine site but the others only through stories.
I was into other things for so many years.
If it had not been for Ivan Santos I would probably still have my head in some rock strata, looking for fossil specimens yet to be discovered,I still go from time to time but with no rain they just don't wash out.
I came to Lone Star in 1999 and have enjoyed their company. I entered my first competition hunt with of all detectors a De-tex/Delux . I wanted to prove it still worked. I did allright for my first time. It was fun and that was the point.
So, in conclusion I would like to say thank you for being there when Lone Star was in it's fledgling years. I'm sure that the new Mesquite club could use some knowlegable input.
We just hope you don't forget us. Post some of your finds.
"J.L." Tell your new friends in Mesq. to post their finds too.

Your friend
Jessy Boe
