And I thought Goodyear was a corporate name or a blimp or a tire or a...........
Oh well 1815 huh?
Finds of that era are very rare here.
It would be Spanish if at all.I have a friend named of all things "Rusty", who found a 1790 Silver coin (A Reale I think) on the North Sulphur River while fossil finding. It was only a large black slug when he found it. He too cleaned it up and has it in his fossil collection.
That is the extent of any really old stuff I have heard of here in the N.Tex area. There have been some strange stuff found out of context with the area but it happens. I just haven't been the one who has found it.Keep it comming Less, and have a good day.
