The attached image is of the initials on a Fiddle style spoon that recently came to me from a cousin. I am in hopes that someone can identify the lettering. The surname of the original owner of this spoon was Smyth and her initials would have been SJS. At first look the initials appear to be PTP or PJP. I will appreciae any help in identifying the style of lettering and the approximate date of the spoon. The only identification on the back is J & I. Cox. I have enhanced the serif on the initials for clarity.
